The 40 million tons/year integrated refining and chemical project (Phase I) invested by Rongsheng Petrochemical Company's holding subsidiary Zhejiang Petrochemical Co., Ltd.has put the first batch of devices (atmospheric and decompression devices and related utilities) into operation in May 2019.
Up to now, the project's oil refining, aromatics, ethylene, and downstream chemical equipment have been fully put into trial operation, and achieved stable operation and produced qualified products. The complex includes a second 200,000-bpd crude unit, a 1.4 million tons/year ethylene cracker, a 280,000 tons/year propylene unit and a 4 million tons/year paraxylene plant.
The company will further improve the debugging and optimization of relevant process parameters, and improve the level of plant production and operation.
