In mid-August, the integration project of PTMEG and PBAT new material industry chain of Inner Mongolia Huaheng Energy Technology Co., Ltd. was officially put into production, the first set of PTMEG project was put into production and successfully produced qualified products.
The commissioning of Huaheng Energy PTMEG fills the gap of PTMEG industry in Inner Mongolia Autonomous region and injects new power into the construction of coal-based biodegradable materials industry base in Wuhai City. Huaheng Energy's PTMEG and PBAT new material industry chain integration project has a total investment of 10.5 billion yuan, with an annual design output of 300kt/year of BDO and 184kt/year of PTMEG.
The first batch of qualified PTMEG products have been successfully shipped. PTMEG (polytetrahydrofuran) is an important raw material for synthetic fiber, which is mainly used in the production of spandex and polyurethane elastomers.
